Visa Debit Cards are a convenient way to access your account and pay for everyday purchases—in person or online. Visa Debit Cards come with most BFH checking accounts and can be used as an ATM card for account access 24/7. Sign your name instead of using your PIN for maximum safety with your everyday debit card purchases.

Debit/ATM card limits 

  • Debit card - $500 per 24 hour period*
  • Debit card (at merchant) - $1500 per 24 hour period*
  • ATM card - $300 per 24 hour period*
  • ATM card (at merchant) - $300 per 24 hour period*

*24 hour period resets at 2:30 pm daily 

 

Worried about card fraud? We've got your back. 

We monitor your card usage and will notify you via email, text or phone call if we notice unusual spending. The call may come from a live fraud representative or the automated system. It's important you respond to us and let us know your status! Remember, we will NEVER ask for your PIN number. The fraud center will check to see if you are indeed, making the purchases.

We know losing your ATM or Debit Card can be stressful. That’s why we’ll do everything we can to put your mind at ease and take the steps needed to prevent financial losses or identity theft. With Online and Mobile Banking, you have more control over your Debit Card than ever before. If your card gets lost or stolen, you can turn it off right away from your phone or computer.

 

Instructions to report Lost/Stolen

To report your ATM or Debit Card lost / stolen over the phone, follow the below instructions. You can report it lost by dialing the Instant Access line, 785-456-6565 or 785-537-0802 and selecting option 7 (available 24/7). You may also call a representative during banking hours. For further assistance, visit us at one of our locations or contact your local bank

 

To report your Debit Card lost / stolen online, please follow the below instructions.

To report your Debit Card lost / stolen on the Bank of the Flint Hills app, please follow the below instructions.

  • Log on to Mobile Banking
  • Click on 'Manage Cards' 
  • Select the card(s) to report lost / stolen
  • Click on 'Suspend Card' to stop authorizations on the card and click 'Suspend'
  • To report a card lost / stolen and to permanently disable the card, click 'Report' 

Once your card is turned off, alert a Bank of the Flint Hills employee as soon as possible by calling 785-456-2221 or email customerservice@bankflinthills.com. We will promptly order a new card and will mail it to you within 10-14 days.
